Job Description : . Developing and optimizing mining plans to ensure efficient resource extraction while adhering to safety and environmental regulations. • Utilization of geological and geotechnical data to design mine layouts, schedules, and sequencing. • Determine optimal drilling and blasting methods to maximize ore recovery. • Develop short-term and long-term production schedules to achieve production targets. • Develop strategies for production enhancement and cost reduction related activities for practical implementation in mines. • Optimize mine sequencing to balance ore quality and quantity over time. • Recommend modifications to existing mine plans to optimize resource utilization. Contribute to feasibility studies by providing technical and commercial input on mine planning and scheduling. • Analyze project proposals to assess their viability and potential economic returns Collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to project feasibility studies. • Work like a team member/ team leader, as and when required and display skills in terms of working as a team. • Contribute to firm’s growth, by contributing in developing proposals and responding to RFPs/ Tenders. • Should be able to work on and manage multiple projects. Proven experience in mine planning and scheduling for OC/UG Mining in Coal/Metal. • Proficiency in mine planning software and tools preferably MINEX & SURPAC. • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in mining. • Understanding of the regulatory and policy regime in the Indian mining and metals sectors.
